Partial success with inflation compensation bonus and salary increases! But should that be it?

500 euros inflation compensation bonus compared to possible 3000 euros and 167 flat-rate salaryincreases compared to 5,2% (2023) and 3,3% (2024) in many other companies are not sufficient in our view.

This would not have been possible without the members of IG Metall at Capgemini Engineering. It is good that the employer at least pays 167 euros more in monthly salary (with 12 monthly salaries) after our steady forcing.

We want reliability and good pay for everyone – that’s why our demand for Capgemini Engineering remains: 3000 euros inflation compensation bonus and 8% pay increases. Inflation remains at a high level, which is why further pay increases are important. We want to introduce an in-house
collective agreement to ensure that all employees receive reliable pay increases in the long term: To ensure that the employer does not determine the amount alone, negotiations at eye level are necessary. This is only possible with collective bargaining! This also includes transparent criteria for promotions and performance fees.

What has happened is a small step in the right direction. For further steps into the future, we need you.
